Thozha Tamil Movie Online



Cast: Nitin Sathya, Premji, Ajay Raj, Vijay Vasanth, Jennifer, Lakshana, Sahithya, V.A. Murthy, Babylona

The story is about four friends and one of them sacrifices his life for the sake of friendship. Premji, Vijay Vasanth, and Nitin Sathya are close friends. Ajay Raj, who is out to avenge the killing of his younger sister by her boyfriend, also joins these friends. In this situation, a rowdy’s daughter, Jennifer, loves Ajay, but he does not reciprocate. He has to first kill the person who cheated his sister and took her life. When it is known that it is Nitin Sathya who is the culprit, Ajay picks up an ’aruval’ and rushes to confront Nitin. In the meantime, Nitin hires a mercenary paying him Rs 5 lakes to kill Ajay. The friends are divided and the outcome of the clashes between them forms the climax.

Premji who is naughty and mischievous, Vijay Vasanth who is exhuberant, and Nitin who gives life for friendship demonstrate by their performances what heroism is. In "Chennai-28", Premji missed a catch in a cricket match evoking laughter. In "Thozha" he deserves a pat for not missing out on comedy. A marriage feast is turned into a comedy fest when starving Premji and Vijay go to a wedding for eating posing as important guests and get caught.

Ajay makes the viewers feel the pain and pressure when he learns that it is one of his friends, Nitin, who killed his sister. The scene where jobless Premji tears up his degree certificate in frustration melts the hearts. Nitin brings his character alive. He emotes well and evokes sympathy in sequences where he is pictured as one whose death is near. This sympathy factor also works against him. Jennifer, Lakshna and Sahithya lend glitz and glamour to the proceedings.

V.A. Murthy plays a comedian and his double-meaning dialogues are hilarious. . His shout of "Saroja Saman Nikkalo" when a bucket overflows with water under a tap takes the cake. Babylona appears as his wife Saroja. Music is by Premji and his tunes are sprightly. Too many sub-plots diffuse the focus. The director himself seems confused and brings the climax to an abrupt end foisting five murder cases on Nitin who is already in the jaws of death. However, the film is not a total disappointment.

Anamika Hindi Movie Online
























If there is anything that assures you that this will be a decent movie, it’s the title - ANAMIKA. In 1973, this Jaya Bhaduri-Sanjeev Kumar starrer was a hit. This is where director Ananth Mahadevan whets the appetite of the viewer. But 10 minutes into this film and you know you are in for a snooze-fest.

What Mahadevan could have finished telling off in one reel, he prolongs for 14 painful reels. And he has no semblance of a clue of how to hold the suspense. Even when it unfolds, you want to ask him, “Mr, if this was all there was to it, why was not Dino opening his mouth and telling his second wife Minissha at the first instance. Or, why was not Minissha asking him how his first wife died, instead of jumping into marriage with a man she has just met?

If Alfred Hitchcock could hold the viewers spellbound with his 1940 classic REBECCA, it was because he wove the scenes together skillfully and kept the viewers on the edge of his seat, guessing until the last moment. Mahadevan, who has borrowed heavily from Hitchcock, fails to understand how to glue the viewer. A bad take-off on the classic, which won two Oscars.

Here is the story: Dino Morea (Vikram Singh Sisodiya) a rich industrialist from Rajasthan comes to Mumbai for a business meeting and requests the services of an escort who actually will be his secretary for the day. Minisha Lamba (Jia) who is employed by the escorts service makes a hash of her job, which prompts Dino to train her to be a good escort. Before the day ends, he has proposed marriage, and she has accepted. Next she moves on to his palatial bungalow where she is introduced to the caretaker Koena Mitra and other support staff who do nothing but always refer to the dead Mrs Sisidoya (Anamika). “She would have preferred it this way”, and “she would have done it this way…” Everything in the mansion has her stamp “A” and Jia is trapped, until she musters enough courage to say that she is Mrs Sisodiya. Both try to save their marriage by burying the ghost of the past and by a twist of fate, are led to the body of Anamika.

Watching Dino perform you would not be able to make out the difference between BRAHM, released recently and ANAMIKA. Same expressions, same mood, same walk. Wake up Dino! Minissha, I guess, is quite confused as to how she landed this role, oops into the palace! As for Koena, they say she is the caretaker and Dino’s childhood friend. But what about her ancestors? How did she come about being the caretaker? What about her parents? Mahadevan decides that it is not required. But he has enough time to build up her character. Instead, he ends up using her as a chandelier. Only Gulshan Grover acts.

Jannat is a film starring two Bollywood stars. These two stars are Emraan Hashmi and Sonal Chauhan. Emraan Hashmi’s name in the film is Arjun and Sonal Chauhan’s name in the film is Zoya. Emraan Hashmi’s friend in the film is Vishal Malhotra. Vishal Malhotra's name in the film is Vishal.

Intially both the friends Arjun and Vishal are small time gamblers. They bet their money on playing cards. But both don’t win much and are in debts. The money they have borrowed from Patel bhai( A small Don in the film) is demanded by him from both Arjun and Vishal. Hence for paying debts, Arjun plays a betting on a Cricket match he sees on the TV between India and England. He wins quite a lot from that betting and pays all his debts. Then he starts playing bets on cricket matches and wins quite a lot of money from this betting. He first meets his girlfriend in a Shopping Mall. He impresses his girlfriend Zoya by Buying her expensive gifts and buying a car to pickup and drop her from her workplace.

Then 2 men come to him and kidnap him and carry him to South Africa. There he meets a Bigger don who says he has listened a lot about him and wants him to work for him.
Arjun agrees to work for the Don. Then he starts betting for the Don and wins him a lot of money and alongside he also becomes very rich. He invites his girlfriend to South Africa. To which his girlfriend agrees and he keeps her in a spanking new house.

But, a CBI inspector from India informs Zoya about Arjun and tells her that he is involved in Anti-Social activities like Kidnap, murder and Drugs.

Then Zoya tells everything about this meeting to Arjun and gets a promise from him that from now on he will not involve himself in any anti social activities. Arjun agrees to this.

Then, He starts living a honorable life and works for a bar as a bartender. But, The Don approaches him and tells him to again start betting for the matches. He again falls in his trap and starts betting again. His girlfriend Zoya gets the knowledge of this and also the CBI inspector gets the knowledge of this. He arrests Arjun. Then Arjun gets released on bail by the don. Arjun continues his betting business but one day gets caught by the Coach of the team, whose player he had buyed. Then Police also comes alongside and he gets killed in the encounter with the police.

Synopsis:

Mr. McDonagh makes his feature directorial debut on the film, from his own original screenplay. In Bruges was filmed on location; Bruges (pronounced "broozh"), the most well-preserved medieval city in the whole of Belgium, is a welcoming destination for travelers from all over the world. But for hit men Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson), it could be their final destination; a difficult job has resulted in the pair being ordered right before Christmas by their London boss Harry (two-time Academy Award nominee Ralph Fiennes) to go and cool their heels in the storybook Flemish city for a couple of weeks. Very much out of place amidst the gothic architecture, canals, and cobbled streets, the two hit men fill their days living the lives of tourists. Ray, still haunted by the bloodshed in London, hates the place, while Ken, even as he keeps a fatherly eye on Ray's often profanely funny exploits, finds his mind and soul being expanded by the beauty and serenity of the city. But the longer they stay waiting for Harry's call, the more surreal their experience becomes, as they find themselves in weird encounters with locals, tourists, violent medieval art, a dwarf American actor (Jordan Prentice) shooting a European art film, Dutch prostitutes, and a potential romance for Ray in the form of Chloë (Clémence Poésy), who may have some dark secrets of her own. Synopsis:

After a deadly plague results in the quarantine of the entire country of Scotland (in a scene reminiscent of I AM LEGEND), a wall is built around the country preventing anyone from going in or out. Thirty years later, the British government believes everyone within the wall to be dead, but when they find signs of life and learn of the possibility of a cure, a team of specially trained agents led by Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra) become the first outsiders to venture inside the country since the epidemic. They discover that there are plenty of survivors who have splintered into fierce, warlike tribes, living in a lawless society where cannibalism and murder are the order of the day. Astute viewers will have a blast playing "spot the influence," with loving, obvious nods to ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, ALIENS, 28 DAYS LATER, and the MAD MAX films. At the film's halfway point, Marshall switches gears, transforming the film from a punk-informed futuristic action film into a medieval-style chase film, utilizing Scotland's castles and sumptuous green landscapes to the fullest. Mitra is an exciting physical presence as Eden, a female version of NEW YORK's Snake Plissken, and the great supporting cast includes Bob Hoskins and Malcolm McDowell.

Bhoothnath Hindi Movie Online
















Plot

Teaming two superstars [Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan] in your directorial debut is as good as impossible. Opting for a novel story -- the relationship between a spirit and a mortal -- is an equally big challenge. Really, it requires courage to make a film that defies the stereotype, yet is seeped in emotions that work with the Indian junta. Vivek Sharma's first outing Bhoothnath is a simple story, well told and that's why it works!

Aimed at kids between 6 and 60, Bhoothnath relies on the belief that has been passed on to us through generations: Aatma amar hain.

Let's get a few things straight at the very outset. Bhoothnath is not an eerie experience [it does have a few moments though]. It's more of a kiddie film with a strong undercurrent of emotions. In fact, the bonding between the spirit and the kid makes you smile, even laugh at times and most importantly, makes you moist-eyed at two vital points of this 2.08 hour film.

One of the prime reasons why Bhoothnath works, besides the above-mentioned reasons, is due to the right casting. The story rests on two shoulders -- the experienced [Bachchan] and the raw talent [Aman Siddiqui] -- and both shoulder the responsibility beautifully, both compliment each other wonderfully well and make it a must-see experience.

You forget most films the moment you step out of the cineplex. But there're films that remain etched in your memory for their simplicity. Bhoothnath is one of those films. Go for it!
