The Mist English Movie Online

"The Mist" is the latest Stephen King adapt to hit the big screen. The previous Stephen King adapt to land on the silver screen was "1408", and although "The Mist" was absent of Samuel L. Jackson and John Cusack, the film overall was alot better. The movie follows a married father of one named David Drayton (Thomas Jane) who's day starts off on the downside when a tree comes crashing through his window as aresult of a freak storm, which causes him to confront his neighbor Brent Norton (Andre Braugher) with whom he has a shaky relationship with. But the tree and the issue of why Brent didn't cut it down sooner becomes a moot point when a mysterious fog comes rolling across the lake that sits in front of their house.

Thinking nothing of it besides it being a storm cloud, David and Brent, after settling their issues head to the local grocers to pick up some supplies, with David taking his son along with him. But the mysterious fog proves not to be far behind, and once it engulfs the supermarket and everything around it, that's when the real terror begins. "The Mist" is not your typical monster movie, and this is something people need to be aware of before going into the pic. If you think "The Mist" will be similar to such romps as "Eight Legged Freaks", and "Jurassic Park", where at every turn there's a non-human enemy waiting to strike, think again.

While the film does offer up alot in the line of terrifying otherwordly monsters and them wreaking havoc all over the place, the film also explores human behavior, and what can happen when a group of strangers are tossed into a life or death situation with so many things dividing them such as religious beliefs, geographical origins, social status, etc. "The Mist" also works in parts, beginning with the strange fog setting in over the supermarket, followed by the disbelief that there's anything in the mist, and then the terrifying realization that there are indeed creatures that lurk within the mist.

As the film builds from point, to point, to point...human nature also begins to set in amongst the stores inhabitants which ends up metaphorically creating monsters on the inside, which prove to be just as dangerous as those on the outside. A scenario which proves dangerous for David who has his son to look after as well as himself. David does however manage to find an ally in the madness named Amanda, played by Laurie Holden. But an enemy also emerges amongst the pandemonium taking place inside, Mrs. Carmody..played brilliantly by Marcia Gay Harden. An uber-religious woman with a sharp tongue, who uses the current situation to influence others to her fundamentalist beliefs and manages to cause further divisiveness in an already tense situation.

Harden's character is interesting to watch and I would say in many ways steals the show, and as things get worse, more people begin to die, and Carmody's biblical ramblings begin to come to fruition...her number of followers begin to grow. The creatures in the film however do not play second fiddle to their human counterparts, as there are alot of creature attack scenes in the film, and they are pretty gruesome and intense as well. The monsters in the film are also kept faithful to the novel written by King, and despite some of them drawing similarities to past and present insects and mammals, it's pretty hard for the viewer to even try and guess or speculate as to what the creatures might be considering they're so weird looking.

But there are just as many intense human versus human sequences, as there are intense man versus monster sequences in the picture. "The Mist" gets really good in it's final act which holds alot of surprises which concern the origins of the monsters, things coming to a boil within the supermarket, a shocking ending, and much more. Although "The Mist" does get cliche at times with scenarios such as foolish people testing the mysterious fog by stepping out into it, and thick-headed people refusing to believe what's going on outside until it's too late, even those scenes come off as semi-likeable in this movie, due to it being written so well by writer/director Frank Darabont. "The Mist" is a smart horror movie, which does what many other horror films (monster movies in particular) rarely succeed at doing...which is creating two different sets of monsters to scare it's audience, creating characters for which we can cheer for, and not just limiting itself to being a blood-soaked creature feature with little to no character development.

Positives:Great writing, very intense action sequences, a suitable amount of blood and gore, great hero's and villains, and stunning performances. Negatives:I felt the ending was a bit unfair. Overall:Good movie with alot of different dimensions.

Black Cat Malayalam Movie Online

Black Cat - Logic less but entertaining

For those who are familiar with Suresh Gopi's movies, nothing comes as a surprise anymore after his last – ‘Kichamani’, which made him to go to any extent to create a few giggles...And - for others who had only seen the best from him, the transition jumps that his characters in films creates can cause the jaw to drop. But here, he is in the company of Vinayan whose films always carry a catchword of being different. He had in his former attempts tried weird ways to look different too.

Now in his new film 'Black Cat', his main object of difference is Suresh Gopi who is presented in a logic-defying dark makeup with shoulder length mane. He is 'Black' in the film, fond of wearing black attires, and popular among the fishermen community of the area as the Henchmen of local rich boss, Tharakan, who runs big business along the shores. Black who speaks childishly has a group of friends among the children and grownups like Ceasor and Washington, who often pressurize him to dot Blessy the only daughter of Tharakan.

The story takes a different turn with the arrival of Dr .Meenakshi who is on a trip to have some studies from world famous Ayurveda Acharya, Moosath. And in the welcome party lavishly organized by Tharakan she notices Black, who reminds her of her old love Ramesh Sharma, who was the city commissioner of police in Mumbai and was missing for ten years. Ramesh who was an honest cop was last seen fighting against the Mumbai mayor Prabhul Kumar and similar mighty persons as he got evidence against them for creating bomb blasts in the city.

Meenakshi began to follow Black and shoots him on her camcorder and tries to know about his whereabouts. Black’s father Pathrose and the people nearby couldn't give her any clue of any similarities and finally Meenakshi brings black to the Ayurveda physician who starts treating him for memory loss. What is the mystery of Black? The answers will give you the basic plot of Black Cat, which reminds of the films of the late eighties in Bollywood. This is another attempt by Vinayan to create a hit against his name, which has been evading him for the last couple of years.

The film has a slick story line and interesting dialogues which propel the movie in a single breath all along the two and half hours. Its story works because the writer packs his screenplay with clever lines that make audiences giggle. But what the film doesn’t have is logic, which is seen all through the narratives.

Suresh Gopi overacts in the first few sequences, before settling down on the character. The two lead ladies Meena as Meenaksi and Karthika as Blessy don't have much to do. But it is Rajan P Dev who appears as Tharakan Muthalali who steals the show with the typical coastal accent and maneuvers. He is ably supported in comic departments by Indrans, Harishree Ashokan and Co. Nedumudi as Pathrose and Thilakan as Moosath also give in some mentionable performances.

The film has three songs set to music by M Jayachandran and Alphonse, the pick among them being 'Aatmavin Kaavil'. The Hindi song in the film is also an enjoyable stuff. Venugopalan behind the camera and G Murali in the editing help Vinayan to keep the tempo of the movie with better visuals and slick cuts.

Altogether, this movie for the die hard fans of the star who will applaud all through the formula stuff. Others too won't find it too difficult to digest, if you can put away your logical brains for quite some time.

Subhadram Malayalam Movie Online

Subhadram - Worth a miss

Subhadram is basically a story about revenge set in the backdrop of a self financing college campus.

In addition to a teenage romance, the film also has a mix of mystery and horror that neither adds to the interests of the plot of the film.

Consider the following aspects of the movie:

[a] it is directed by Sreelal Devaraj for whom it is a launch vehicle
[b] Its lead is played by a group of relative new comers, who are for the first time taking the risk of being in the lead
[c] It is a miss- mash a of a variety of genres, ranging from a campus story to a horror movie, aptly supplied in bulk with all sort of psychological reasoning
[d] It doesn’t contains enough sentiments or humorous sequences to keep you involved
[e] The film didn't have good pre publicity to the extent that it was released in fewer centres with the least capacity

One need not be a box office pundit to predict that this film shall never draw any decent initials from the box office. And exactly that is what happened with the film that opened poorly, leaving the very few attending the screening, dry and sleepy.

The director also wrote the story, which essentially tells a plot in the backdrop of Royal College of Engineering Studies, where the children of the big guns study.

The film opens with four youth, three of them Aishwarya, Thara and Nishanth, the alumni of Royal College, working on a documentary project on 'life and death.' Manu, the group's leader, and the graphic designer of the firm, is attracted to a sculpture of a woman that he founds amidst their work and buys it to his home.

Thereafter, he starts to feels the presence of a lady wherever he goes. He creates an advertisement campaign using the lady's features which lands them into further troubles. All hell breaks loose as they find that the picture bears an uncanny resemblance to a girl named Subhadra who was gang raped in the RCES and had been missing since then.

Dy SP Nandakumar, father of Nishanth and others who were then accused for her missing gets killed one after one, which ignites the interests of Chandrabhanu I P S towards the case.

Chandrabhanu goes on to find out the history of Subhadra , a good looking and intelligent girl who took admission in this college, as she is the daughter of Prof Sethulakshmi, who works in the college as a lecturer.

Within a short time, Subhadra becomes very popular in the campus. Tara, who reined the campus and the art festivals till then, couldn't digest her intrusion into popularity and so, she takes every chance to harass Subhadra whenever she gets one. She with the help from Nishanth, Aiswarya and Paul Alex, creates an well etched plan to rag her brutally, in the campus.

Subhadra decides to fight back and plans to complain to the police, after the incident but, as Tara and her friends are from very affluent families, the police ignore the complaint. Then one day, Subhadra disappears.

As Chandrabahanu starts investigating the case in the new lines, the dimensions of the entire case become more and more complicated which leads to more twists and turns.
In the paper, the plot may look impressive, but on screen it has not much to comment on. The biggest letdown of the flick is the dialogues by Ajayan Ochnthurathu, which has all the clichés ever known in the film world. The director too adds to the woes by sticking to a narration that is below par. More serious is his reluctance to make his new leads to perform at least to the bench mark of a feature film. The first half hour of the film is amateurish, with the only saving grace provided in better angles, frames and visuals by cameraman M D Sukumaran. He has heavily graded.

Athisayan Malyalam Movie Online

The Vinayan-directed Athishayan is as an average film, but for kids who'd be looking for something entertaining this summer, Athishayan would be fine. It's a film that you would very likely enjoy if you cast yourself in the mindset of a kid.

Maya, a young television reporter works for New India Television. Radharamanan, the Managing Director of the channel has a fascination for Maya, who was brought up in an orphanage by Father Chanthakkadan. Maya herself takes up the responsibility of bringing up a few orphans, whom she has picked up from the streets. One of these kids is Devan, who is sort of a child prodigy, with a computer-like mind and very good in studies and extra-curricular activities.

R.C. Shekhar, a scientist, lives very near their house. He is working on a project, which could help in making human bodies invisible. On the very day that he successfully experiments his 'magic' potion on a rabbit, he is urgently called to the U.S as his daughter, who is studying there, meets with an accident.

Meanwhile Maya's friend and lover Roy, who too had been a journalist, is in jail after having been framed in a murder case by some influential politicians including the State Revenue Minister Divakaran, another minister Yunus Kunju, the Police Commissioner Shanmughan and the very influential Kuwait Nazar. With the help of the newly-appointed Collector Anita Williams, Maya shoots a video of these baddies accepting crores of rupees as commission from some Arab businessmen, who are here to sign some business deals with the State Government.

Maya immediately goes to Radharamanan and shows him the clip. Radharamanan is thrilled and agrees to telecast it, after discussing it with the Board of Directors. Somehow Nazar, Divakaran and others come to know of this and they go after Maya, in order to get from her the memory card containing the clipping. On the very same day that R.C.Shekhar goes to the U.S, Maya is abducted by Nazar and group. The kids are baffled. Anita Williams, Father Chanthakkadan and Radharamanan know who are behind this, but nothing can be done without sufficient evidence. And then Devan, who had seen R.C. Shekhar conducting the experiment on the rabbit, steals into Shekhar's lab and drinks the potion. He becomes invisible and sets out to save Maya. How he does it forms the rest of the plot.

Devadas, who had recently hogged the limelight with Jayaraj's Anandabhairavi, is good as Devan and would appeal to everyone, though he often behaves and even speaks like an adult. Kavya Madhavan as Maya has done justice to her role. Jackie Shroff, who makes his debut in Malayalam playing R.C. Shekhar, is a good choice. Thilakan as Father Chanthakkadan, Mukesh as Radharamanan, Devan as Kuwait Nazar, Rajan P. Dev as Divakaran, Ramu as Yunus Kunju, Bheeman Rehgu as Shanmughan, Jagadeesh as the news-reader Koshy, Harisri Ashokan as R.C. Shekhar's assistant Damodaran etc have done their respective roles well.

The cinematography, the music, the lyrics, the editing and the art-direction are all in tune with the theme. Athishayan relies heavily on special effects, without which the film is virtually nothing. So, if you really wish to go for Athishayan, expect nothing but kid's stuff gift-wrapped with an abundance of special effects.

Rudraksh Hindi Movie Online

A film like RUDRAKSH is extremely difficult to make

It not only requires fertile imagination to pen a script that merges the past with the future, but to attain the desired results, you need courageous producers to fund the grandiose project.

No two opinions on the fact that producers Nitin Manmohan and Sohail Maklai have spent a packet to create a visual feast. The special effects, at places, are of international standards and for the Indian audiences, it is a novel experience without doubt.

Mani Shankar, who's credited with the story, screenplay, dialogues, editing, SFX and direction, scores marks on the SFX front. He is a competent technician, but an ineffective storyteller.

If RUDRAKSH is an extremely difficult film to make, it is much more difficult to comprehend and understand the flick. An apt case of body beautiful, minus soul!

Healing powers that science cannot explain and voodoo practices that defy all logic are just some of the instances of paranormal activity that Dr. Gayatri [Bipasha Basu] is busy investigating. Her experiments bring her with her team of fellow scientists from America to India where they encounter the gifted Varun [Sanjay Dutt].

Varun has inexplicable paranormal powers, yet is highly disciplined and evolved. His unusual ability of taking away pain and affliction from his subjects fascinates Gayatri and he becomes a willing subject of her cause.

Gayatri's unusual experiments suddenly hurtle Varun towards guessing the existence of a dark power that is hidden and evil. What is the force all about? And why does it wage a battle against Varun? And how is it linked to Ravan's Rudraksh?

Hidden away, vanished in the hoary mists of time is the most unusual Rudraksh. Legend has it that it carried in its folds seed sounds that promised to mutate humans into new species.

This was not a normal Rudraksh worn by ordinary people. In the language of science, it was a multi-dimensional hologram in the form of a seed. It beheld the power to mutate its bearer into a power beyond all reckoning.

Though he first tries to evade the forces that beckon him, Varun is drawn deeper and deeper into a pact of peril. He is soon hurtled into a heady adventure and chase that takes him to the Himalayas and then into the mysterious ruins of the legendary King Ravan's palaces in Lanka.

Varun digs deep to discover the secret of Rudraksh. And suddenly everything starts making sense

If you're under an impression that RUDRAKSH is a present-day interpretation of 'Ramayana', let's get it right at the very outset it's not! In fact, director Mani Shankar seems heavily inspired by director Bryan Singer's much-acclaimed and immensely successful X-MEN [2000; starring Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart].

Nothing wrong with that! For, Mani Shankar has merged Indian mythology in the plot in an attempt to suit Indian sensibilities. Unfortunately, the story makes sense, but the screenplay does not. You just don't relate to it!

Technical jargons and pretentious vocabulary such as genetic mutation, thought transmissions and electromagnetic fields are incorporated as part of dialogues [all these terms are mouthed in English language, mind you!], without even explaining to the viewer [in layman's lingo] what these terms actually mean. Worse, there's a heavy usage of Sanskrit throughout, which will be difficult for an average cinegoer to decipher.

The film abounds in gloss; in fact that's the only area the film scores marks in. The stunts between Dutt and Shetty the first time they come face to face, or towards the finale are brilliantly executed. The storm effect in Kabir Bedi's ashram, when the demon tries to overpower Bipasha, also keeps the viewer enthralled.

But the technician in Mani Shankar overpowers the storyteller in him completely. The film offers some hitherto unseen special effects to the Indian viewer, but how one wishes the maker would've narrated the film in a language that would've been understood universally.

Though the basic concept of the film [good versus evil] is interesting, the narrative and the sequence of events are not. Although the film starts off very well, the narrative tends to get confusing after a point. One misses an impeccably woven character drama with a profound emotional dimension.

Besides special effects, the film works in a big way in the cinematography [T. Surendra Reddy], action [Abbas Ali Moghul] and background score [Sashi Preetam] departments. However, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's music is strictly okay, with just one song fitting in the narrative 'Ishq Khudai' which will be loved for its erotic flavour.

RUDRAKSH rests on Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty's shoulders and both enact their parts with utmost sincerity. Dutt seems to be enjoying his work and it shows on screen. Shetty too is up to the mark. The get-ups of both Dutt and Shetty would also be appreciated.

Bipasha Basu does an okay job, while Isha Koppikar leaves an impression in a negative role. Kabir Bedi is alright. Nigar Khan sizzles in the dance track.

On the whole, RUDRAKSH proves the adage 'All that glitters is not gold' absolutely right. The film has gloss, no soul, which will take a toll on its overall business.

Aggar Hindi Movie Online

Introducing Aggar

Bollywood over the years has unfailingly churned out products that take a look at obsessive behavioral patterns. Anant Mahadevan, the director of light romantic entertainers like Dil Vil Pyar Vyar and Dil Maange More in an effort to rise to fame tried his luck directing a sex thriller titled Aksar (dealt with obsession), the movie did average business. His last flick, the remake of a rollicking entertainer titled Victoria No 203 was a huge flop. How well does Aggar succeed in being a real thriller?

Aggar Story

Aggar once again speaks of marital loyalty. The movie revolves around Janvi (Udita Goswami) married to a psychiatrist, Dr. Aditya Merchant (Shreyas Talpade). Their marriage faces murkiness as suspicion creeps in her mind about her husband having an extra-marital affair with Radha [Saadhika]. Suddenly the norms of marriage seems to be just in words, as Janvi’s distrust takes the shape of retribution and on a whim she gets attracted towards Aryan (Tusshar Kapoor), an employee in her company. The illicit romance was on full swing, but suddenly the story takes a twist. Janvi discovers that Radha is just an architect building a dream home for them. She realizes her blunder and tries to break herself free from the lures of Aryan. But for Aryan, the affair has taken the shape of a dangerous obsession.

Aggar Review

Aggar starts off brilliantly. The first half of the movie is well knit with fast paced sequences required to carry off a thriller. With unimaginable sequences and twists that unfold gradually, the director has managed to grasp the attention of the viewer’s all through. But absurdity is the order of the day, the climax turned out to be a disappointment as the director abruptly chooses to give a run-of-a-mill ending. Musical score by Mithoon is disappointment, as his tunes get repetitive and boring. Cinematography is excellent.

Aggar Performances

Tusshar Kapoor as the obsessive lover is good. The intensity with which he performs the role is commendable. Although romancing the leading lady on screen is something that he should avoid. Udita Goswami looks good, flaunts her body and acts well. Shreyas Talpade in a different role delivers a wonderful performance. Undoubtedly he is one of the most talented actors of the current generation. Sophie Chaudhary is good and so is Nausheed Cyrusi.

Aggar Verdict

Overall, Aggar is a well made product with good performances by the lead actors. At the ticket counter, a not-so-hot star cast combined with absolutely no hype should result in a slow opening. Word-of-mouth is the only hope for Aggar!

Aunty no.1 Hindi Movie Online

Aunty No. 1....painful.....ears were disappointed due to lack of humorous jokes (as opposed to timepass jokes--smile sympathetically at the fool telling such stupid "jokes")...eyes were losing sight of the big thing changing from Govinda to that darn aunty....brainache (trying to keep track of those ridiculous "conflicts"...)...

Movie starts out with Hijra No. 1's bhabhi (Bindu--of Judwaa "fame") claiming that Gopi (Govinda) is basically a loser (surprise surprise). In the quest for success and fame, he goes to movie producers...meets up with Parshaani No. 1 of Hi Hi Productions (Satish Kaushik), some laughs, blahblah.

Second conflict. Runs over Ditz No. 1(Raveena), who ran away from home so she didn't have to marry villian Boytoy No. 1 (Mohnish Behl--even Madhuri preferred Salman, bechara reject...). She was told by Anupam Kher that she was destined to marry Ranjeet Saigal (sounds like an "Oyyyyye Ranjeet-ah!). Smart, beautiful, and talented as she is, the fool went to look for her Oy Ranjeet-a, found Govinda, blahblah. Oh right...her dad's a villian (that Raza Murad stud).

Third conflict. Govinda sees a murder by Raza. Govinda's innocent bhai works for him and catches him doing not so innocent things. POLICE POLICE! bhaiji yells. Let's steal that Bunty kid, Raza growls. Kid gone, no tears shed.

Fourth. Govinda has loser friends who are after loser girls (Jhalle No. 1's), whatever their names are--uhhmm Harish and uhhmm Rohit someone of Aazmayish "fame"....connected eyebrow boys--uhmm attractive indeed. They are after two total idiots, who are Budha No. 1's (Kadar Khan) something or another. Here enters Aunty No. 1, as Maharani Sahiba... and there goes Kadar Khan's dil, as well as some other old guy's. Yeck.

Pyaar Ke Side Effects Hindi Movie Online

It is easy to fall in love. But when one has to handle the excess baggage that comes along with making a lifelong commitment, that is when Love Crashes.

Pyar Ke Side Effects is a funny, frivolous romantic comedy that explains ‘relationships of today’. Casting Rahul Bose and Bollywood’s sex kitten Mallika Sherawat in her toned down avatar, director Saket Chaudhary has chosen the path of humour to narrate his story in his very first outing. And rightly so.

‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’ is the story of Sid (Rahul Bose), a middle-aged DJ, full of energy and life. He loves Trisha (Mallika Sherawat), a simple girl who runs away from home on her wedding day. After 3 years of their relationship, Trisha bends down on her knees and proposes Sid for marriage. Here begins Sid’s confusion.

Sid loves Trisha and wants to be with her, but the very thought of commitment sends shivers through his spine. Whereas Trisha wants commitment, marriage, family, home and everything else that comes along with a marital life.

Sid, in a confused state, asks his sister Shalini (Taraana Raja) for help. In spite of the constant red alert of his funny and insane roommate Nannu (Ranvir Sheorey), Sid, one fine day in the same state of confusion, lands up in Trisha’s office and gets ready for marriage.

The commitment finally turns out to be Sid’s nightmare and he has to do everything that he hated – searching a perfect engagement ring, shopping for marriage and the worst that could happen was meeting Trisha’s family.

Trisha’s father Retd General Mallik (Sharad Saxena), a strict man with rules, wants Sid out of his daughter’s life and wants her to marry her ex-fiancé Vivek Chadda (Jas Arora).

The movie explains some major problems faced in relationships but choosing a lighter way to narrate the story is the best part. The film progresses with constant pace, bringing forth in a funny way some hard facts about life and relationships.

The story takes a turn near the intermission when a misunderstanding leads to Sid and Trisha’s break off. To make things work again Sid lands at Trisha’s birthday party where he finds her ex-fiancé throwing a party for her. Heart-broken Sid then meets a hot babe Baby Doll Vol. 3 Tanya (Sophie Chaudhary) and tries to get along with her to forget Trisha. But he fails. Meanwhile, Trisha decides to marry her ex-fiancé.

As the story heads towards climax, Sid realizes that he is actually ready commit to Trisha and wants to marry her. But isn’t it too late as she has already decided to get married to Vivek?

To find the answer you have to watch this season’s craziest love story.

The music of the movie is just fine. Although songs do not really get along with the story, the remix “Bad Boy” and a Punjabi song “Pyar Karke” are some good foot tapping numbers.

Saket Chaudhary has given his best and has made a fairly enjoyable movie, considering it is his directorial debut. The way he has narrated the story with witty oneliners and tongue-in-cheek humour, is appreciable.

Mallika’s new avatar suits her. She is looking good as a simple girl and her acting is also natural. Rahul Bose once again has proves his worth as a brilliant actor. Ranvir Sheorey is awesome. He deserves a huge applause for his brilliant acting and he looks fantabulous in a funny role. Sophie looks sexy in the movie and fills the void created by the director making Mallika simple. Others have also acted well.

On the whole, ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’ is not infectious. But it does promise 2:20 hrs of enjoyment and fun.

Moreover, Devaraju was a little intelligent and in a land settlement case, chops the right hand of Pandu. So the latter craves to take revenge against Devaraju. At this juncture Devaraju grabs a vast 500 acre and in the city. In fact, the land belongs to Pingali Venkata Ratnam, who was a Gandhian. He donates the land to the people to construct houses. Not knowing that Pingali Venkata Ratnam is alive, Devaraju manages to prepare fake documents and grabs the entire land. A part of the land is also owned by Vijay̢۪s family. The land oustees could not do anything as they are well aware that Devaraju is a land shark. So the youth, led by Vijay decide to teach a lesson and get back the land? Was Vijay able to achieve the target of taking back the land? How Vijay̢۪s friends helped him in achieving the victory? Did Vijay personally attack Devaraju? Did Vijay accept the love of Janu? Answers to all these questions form part of the remaining film.

Nithin looked like a he-man with a well-built body. But all his efforts to show manly figure went waste as the director failed to make any effort to boost his hero image. He showed good ease in dance in one song. Mamata Mohandas is just okay as heroine as she did not get a chance to show off her glamour and at the same time had not much scope to perform as well. But, she excelled in a teasing scene with the hero. Shashank, though played the other hero̢۪s role, remained just a sidekick to the hero and there is not much scope for showing any kind of heroism. Even his love and romance with Sindhu Tulani were also not properly established. The director chose to ignore him instead of keeping a duet with the heroine. Sindhu Tulani is okay as a private television channel reporter. It was Asutosh Rana, who looked promising as villain. His villainy reminds the audiences the performance of Prakashraj to some extent. Tanikella Bharani, Sana, Duvvasi Mohan are okay in their respective characters. After a long time, Nutan Prasad and Ravi Kondala Rao appeared on the big screen.

As far as technical crew, none of the departments appeared to have worked whole-heartedly. Chakri, who gave fantastic tunes for several films, totally did a rotten job this time as none of the songs were either melodious or foot-tapping. With the music playing foul, the choreography of songs was also not impressive. All the song sequences turned intervals and became useful for the smokers to have a fag. Action scenes choreographed by Ram-Lakshman appeared average with no stylish taking. Though the hero had worked hard with a well-built body, the fight masters did not make the best use of it. When it comes to direction, the director did not concentrate on boosting the image of the hero which he lacked in recent times. Moreover, the screenplay was also haphazard and the audiences groped in dark in various scenes. Though he tried his best to maintain some suspense, it did not work out well. The planning of the hero in tilting the tables in his favour were not established properly and the average audiences could not understand what is happening but to look at the scenes silently.

When the hero is craving for a success, the director should first make efforts to elevate his image by creating some scenes which creates a strong and long-lasting impression in the hearts of the audiences. Moreover, Nithin had kept high hopes on the film as the film is coming from a big banner like RR Movie Makers and from a successful director. But all his hopes went waste as none of the technicians fulfilled their job properly. Especially the improper mix of different elements like love, romance, action and sentiment did not gel properly in the subject. Like the success, even the failure would come from the teamwork. This was proved once again in case of ‘Victory’.

Saptapadi Telugu Movie Online

K.Viswanath's "Saptapadi" appears to be misleading in the title, in that, it is not about the seven steps that one takes to become a part of the institution of marriage. It is not just about a ritualistic exercise that completes the act of shedding the bachelorhood and entering a more stable state. "Saptapadi" talks about an individual's journey breaking away from the shackles from the conversatism to finding a path of understanding, encompassing and enlightenment. "Saptapadi" deals with the transformation of an individual so devoted to (mired in) the concept of rituals, that it takes an act of God (will be discussed shortly) for him to realize the true spirit behind the rituals and true meaning of the prayers. Yajulu is a man of great conviction. According to him rules and customs, that have been passed down generations thus standing the test of the time, are there for a reason and hence are immutable; traditions are trademarks of a culture and customs, its signature. He does not mind losing his daughter for his principles. He is well into his twilight years which give him even more reason to not mend his ways. In his footsteps follows his Gaurinadha (grandchild from his son), gearing up to be a head priest at the local temple. Yajulu's will prevails over Hema's (grandchild from his daughter) wish and Gauri and Hema end up being married. The brilliance of Viswanath comes full fore at this point, when on the first night, Gauri witnesses Durga devi in Hema, and walks out of the room completely shaken up. This act of God triggers Yajulu's thought process to seriously question, for the first time in his life, the validity of his position on matters that involve caste, creed and religion, justifying the steps that Yajulu takes one a time, from the first one in trying to understand Hema's real interests till the last one, when he sees her off with her love interest on the boat.

Premisthe Telugu Movie Online

Story

Aiswarya (Sandhya) is a rich adolescent girl. Murali (Bharath) is a poor uneducated boy who works as bike mechanic. They fall in love and Aiswarya's parents want to marry her off to a rich NRI. Aiswarya forces Murali to take her away from hometown Madhurai. They reach Chennai. The rest of the story forms the crux of the film.

Artists Performance

Bharat is good. He did a deglamourized role in the initial parts of the film. His dancing abilities were exploited in the only duet of the film that comes in the second half. Sandhya is a complete revelation. She is terrific with her natural performance. Her girl next-door looks and adolescent magnetism added lot of believability to characterization. Sukumar - who acted as buddy of Bharat - is competent. Arun Kumar who acted as aide of Bharat is very hilarious with his cowboy attitude. Dandapati and SK Murthy fit the bill.

Technical Departments:

Story: Story of the film is based on a real story of a man who narrated an incident to director Balaji while traveling on a train. Story of the film is very realistic and the later part of it is too hard to digest. The point of a rich girl falling in love with an ugly dressed youngster appears bit too filmy.

Screenplay - direction: Screenplay of the film is good. And direction has certain brilliant moments. There is originality and honesty in his work. He touched the right chords in the flashback episodes of the first half of the film. But he dwelled into too much of reality in the second half which is too serious stuff for entertainment-loving Telugu people. Certain scenes of the film are pretty symbolic -

1. Aiswarya maturing on the same day when Murali speaks to and chides her.
2. Aiswarya opening the tap unconsciously when she is about to get matured.
3. Aiswarya's father getting a call from home that his daughter is missing when he is beating a lower-caste guy who got married to upper-caste girl.
4. The gesture of Murali's aide when Murali leaves his shop forever

Technical departments: Music of the film is adequate. Background music is very good. Photography is an asset. Art work of the film is natural. Dialogues by Sri Rama Krishna are OK. But he could not get certain vital poetic dialogues right in Telugu. Lyrics by Veturi are good (especially janma needele. Maru janma neekele).

Analysis: First half of the film is good with lots of entertaining moments. The second half is too serious and realistic for a regular Telugu film goer to take in. Climax of the film is heart touching. Producer Suresh Kondeti's taste should be appreciated for choosing some art kind of film instead of run-of-the-mill stuff. Raw portrayal of Madhurai would have nativity problems for Telugu audience. It is like watching a Tamil film. The commercial success of the film depends on how Telugu film lovers receive the second half of the film.

Takkari Telugu Movie Online

What's it about?

Tirupathi or Tiru (Nitin) is a carefree guy and his parents (Chandramohan and Sudha) scold him for his non-seriousness. One day, his father asks him to leave him and Tiru takes shelter that night in a temple. In the morning, he sees a beautiful girl Priya (Sada) and falls in love with her. Priya is the sister of a businessman Guru (Shayaji Shinde). Tiru takes different route to express his love, he first meets Guru and expresses his feelings. Tiru's attitude makes Priya to fall in love. The rest of the story is the mind game between Tiru and Guru.

Analysis

After a series of flops and a gap of one year, Nitin makes comeback with Takkari, a remake of Tamil film - Thiruvilayadal Arambam (2006). Nitin seems to have worked hard for this film to get the success - worked on dances and has changed his get up too. Takkari might not bring him big break that he is looking for, but it gives him some hope or relief. The film has some funny moments. The different love track between Nitin and Sada, some dialogues and songs provide time pass. Rest of the film and the direction is mediocre. The dialogues and Nitin's dances are also fresh. "Ammo" Rajashekar doesn't show any creativity. He lacks sensibile handling (that was evident in Khataranak and he exhibits same qualities).

The confrontation scenes between Nitin and Shayaji Shinde are highlight and those make the film an okay one.

Performances

Nitin improves a lot. His hard work shows as he exhibits ease at dances and dialogue delivery. He has done a lengthy dance movement for almost 50 seconds, which is good. Sada has done very glam role. In songs, she has indulged in skin show. Shayaji Shinde is perfect for the role. Raghu Babu's character provides enough laughter but the comedy scenes between Ali and Nitin; Ali and Venu Madhav are not funny.

Of the songs, "Ammi Ammi.." stands out. Editing by Gowtham Raju (but he indulges in unnecessary gimmicks) and cinematography is neat.

Bottom-line

Takkari is just an ordinary movie. Its storyline and some funny moments especially the confrontation scenes between Nitin and Shayaji Shinde and the love track between Nitin and Sada are engrossing. It is better than Nitin's films and might bring him some relief, if not success. To sum up, it is an okay movie.

Ready Telugu Movie Online

Chandu (Ram) is a happy-go-lucky natured young man. He is the only son in the family of three brothers who run cloth business. The joint family consist of Raghupati (Nazar), Raghava (Tanikella Bharani) and Rajaram (Chandramohan), besides a sister Swarajyam (Rajitha). Chandu had a helping nature and being a boy from a joint family, he always wants to be friendly with everyone, including those who try to be rival with him in college as well. Once Chandu help his sister (Tamanna), daughter of Raghupati to marry her boyfriend and lover (Navadeep). This incident forces him to keep off from the family. Though he was away from his house, Raghupati used to send money to Chandu̢۪s friend Raju (Srinivasa Reddy) for his welfare. At this juncture, Chandu accidentally looks at Puja (Genelia) and falls flat in first sight. On one occasion, Chandu tries to help his friend to marry a girl whom he loved. But due to communication gap, Chandu kidnaps Puja unknowingly only to learn that he did a mistake. But, Puja wants to get out of the marriage venue as she was against marrying the boy and she thanks Chandu for helping her. But, she fears attack by her uncles Peddi Reddy (Kota Srinivasa Rao) and Chinna Reddy (Jayaprakash Reddy), as both of them eyed her Rs 100 crore property and plan to get her married to their sons. On learning that Puja wants to return to the US and it takes 10 more days to get the Visa and Passport, Chandu manages to keep her with his parents. Somehow, Puja gets caught by Peddi Reddy. In order to save her and win her hand, Chandu prepares a good plan and turns an assistant to McDonald Murthy (Brahmanandam), who was the auditor of both the brothers. However, Chandu comes to know that Puja is also in love with him but wants to marry him only in presence of all her family members. So, Chandu sets on the job of uniting both the warring families. Did he able to unite both the families? How Chandu convinced them and created a situation to get her married to Chandu instead of their sons? In what way Chandu̢۪s family members helped him in winning the hand of Puja? Answers to all these questions form part of climax.

Ram showed excellent flexibility in his performance. He was simply superb in dances and action scenes. Under the guidance of director Sreenu Vaitla, Ram showed perfection in comedy too. He improved a lot in histrionics and his body language is also very appropriate. The fight masters choreographed the action scenes in a stylish way. Especially the scenes that were shot on Ram in the attires of Krishh and Spiderman perfectly suited to him. Instead of trying to show a six pack body, he showed good ease in action scenes. Genelia, who turned a lucky mascot with two successive hits like ‘Bommarillu and Dhee’, shared her luck with Ram, who was in depression with the failure of ‘Jagadam’ and made ‘Ready’ a hit. However, her character appeared an extension of her roles in ‘Bommarillu and Dhee’ as she continued to maintain her chivalrous kind of performance. One more highlight in the film is the performance of Brahmanandam. This Guinness Record holder, once again proved that he is the best and ace comedian of the Tollywood. All the other artistes did complete justice to their respective roles. Nagababu, Tamanna, Navadeep made their presence on the screen like a flash.

The storyline scripted by Kona Venkat is excellent. Especially, the elaboration of a delicate storyline, with the combination of elements like joint family, love, romance, comedy besides action was wonderful. Both the writer of the story, besides the screenplay penned by the director needs compliments as they did wonders and made the audiences sit tight to their seats. Instead of going for a separate comedy track, the director linked the comedy with the main story and both the story and comedy gelled well with each others. Even the dialogues penned by Gopi Mohan in association with Kona Venkat were very casual and the audiences did not feel something cinematic on the screen. Cinematography by Prasad Murella is okay and the picturisation of songs and action scenes was good, though the tunes by Devisri Prasad appeared a little routine. One could say that the entire movie is a director̢۪s film and he was able to extract good performance from all the artistes equally. Production values of Sravanti Movies are adequate.

The only drawback of the film is the poor climax. The director failed to reach the expectations of the audiences in ending the movie. The climax was quite dull. However, the director̢۪s effort to give a message that money is not the criteria but only human relations will always rule the roost. Love is supreme and the director tried to once again reiterate that people should shun nuclear families and recommended the joint families. As a whole, the director succeeded in achieving a hattrick and he was able to bring smile on the face of Ram for bagging one more hit in his career.

Indra Telugu Movie Online

Story

The film opens with a series of events that leave an astounding impact, shown in time intervals of decades about how one blood-seeking family is trying to annihilate another peace-making influential family in the land of Rayalaseema. In the process they show a kid called Indra Sena Reddy occupying the big chair of the peace making family at a tender age of 8 years.

Then the scene shifts to Varanasi, where the newly appointed UP governor Chenna Kesava Reddy (Prakash Raj) comes to visit Varanasi along with his family, which includes a beautiful daughter Pallavi (Sonali Bendre) who is studying at BHU (Banaras Hindu University).

When Pallavi takes holy dip in Ganges her pearl pendant floats off and adorns the neck of a guy who is also taking holy dip. According to the mother of Pallavi, if somebody leaves something that is dear to them in the Ganges at Varanasi, his or her wishes would come true. But Pallavi does not know that the pendant reached a person called Shankar Narayan.

Shankar Narayan (Chiranjeevi) works as a taxi driver to make his living. He (removed also here) has a trusted lieutenant Valmiki (Tanikella Bharani) and a loyal assistant Giri (Sivaji). Shankar Narayan is very fond of his nephew and niece.

On seeing Shankar Narayan when he visits BHU where his niece Nandini is studying, Pallavi realizes that her pendant is adorned on Shankar Narayan's neck. Nandini and Pallavi are friends. Pallavi falls in love with Shankar Narayan, as she believes that as a 'Shivudi Aagna' (Command of Lord Shiva). She acts as a pilgrim and manages to reach Shankar Narayan's house as guest. She stays there as an orphan. The Governor is worried that his daughter is missing from University. He contacts the local mafia people and summons them to search her daughter. They report to him that she is staying in the house of a taxi driver named Shankar Narayan and she is in love with him. Then Governor uses his mafia links to abduct the family members of Shankar Narayan and transports them in a train. Shankar Narayan gets hold of a helicopter (owned by a Muslim friend Khan - played by Punit Issar) and chases the train to get back his family members.

The irritated Governor lands up at the house of Shankar Narayan with a fleet of cars carrying armed men. When he spots Shankar Narayan, he is very much surprised. He salutes Shankar Narayan and asks him about how and why is he in Varanasi. When Pallavi says that she is in love with Shankar Narayan, the Governor requests Shankar to marry Pallavi. But Shankar Narayan says that he is a responsible guy and he will have to wait till his niece Nandini is married. Then his loyal assistant Giri informs that he is in love with Nandini and Nandini also likes him.

Nandini's marriage with Giri is fixed. When Giri is about to tie the nuptial knot, a fleet of cars enter the compound with a group of villains and a beautiful girl gets down from a Mercedes. That beautiful lady comes to the podium and asks Giri to come out by calling him as Veera Reddy. The black sheep Veera Reddy under the guise of Giri comes out and joins the villain gang. Then the lady tells the crowd that Shankar Narayan is Indra Sena Reddy. And she challenges Shankar Narayan to come back to Rayala Seema.

When asked by the crowds to tell the flashback, Valmiki starts telling the flashback.

Indra Sena Reddy is the peace-loving youngster who performs Yagnam for the rains in Rayalaseema. When he is about to complete the last day of Yagnam, the just-release Veera Kesava Reddy comes to the spot to foil Jala Yagnam. Indra kills him. As soon as he dies the clouds start becoming darker and it drizzles.

Veera Kesava Reddy has got five sons and a daughter. The elder one Veera Shankar Reddy (Mukesh Rushi) heads the five brothers. When Indra Sena Reddy rescues Veera Shankar Reddy's son from a road accident - Veera Shankar Reddy treats it as a humiliation and kills his 6-year-old son. In the mean time, her sister Sneha Latha Reddy (Arti Agrawal) arrives from states after completing graduation. She falls in love with Indra for his goodhearted deeds.

Indra realizes that Rayalaseema needs a reservoir to store the water from rains. But Veera Shankara Reddy and his brothers own the place suitable for building reservoir.

Indra convinces the collector Chenna Kesava Reddy (who later became the Governor of UP) that he would make the settlement for the land if he arranges a meet with Veera Shankara Reddy brothers. In the meeting the brothers of Veera Shankara Reddy ask to surrender all the land and houses to them and leave the Rayalaseema in exchange to their land for reservoir. As the final wish, Sneha Latha Reddy asks Indra to marry her. Indra accepts all their demands and says that he would give property immediately, then marry Sneha Latha Reddy and leave Rayala Seema only after completing the reservoir project.

You have to wait and see what exactly happens in the flashback and what follows next on the giant screen with DTS effect to get the maximum viewing pleasure.

Analysis:
First half is a perfect blend of mass and class elements. It's extraordinary. The interval scene gives the right finishing touch to the first half. The second half has typical B Gopal Kind of action sequences. But, at the same time the saint-like attitude and revenge seeking vigor is judiciously mixed for Indra Sena Reddy character. Second half of the film is excellent. This film is an 18 reel film, which leaves you in theater for about 2 hours and 50 minutes. But you would enjoy every moment of it. Another best thing about this film is that Chiranjeevi is shown as a 30+ guy, which adds some authenticity for the hero characterization. You can go to this film with full expectations and still you get what you want. This film is a super hit for sure. But what needed to be seen is if this film becomes industry's number one or not. Only future will tell!!

Okkadunnadu Telugu Movie Online

Story

Gautami (Neha Julka) is a real estate agent in Mumbai. Kiran (Gopichand) owns a property in Mumbai and sells it through Gautami. He needs money for an urgent purpose and asks Gautami to help him out in getting the money soon instead of the agreed time of six months. Sona Bhai (Mahesh Manjrekar) is an influential mafia don in Mumbai who needs an urgent heart transplantation. His blood group (Bombay blood group) is rare as very few people in India belong to the same blood group. As Sona Bhai runs out of options, his men desperately search for a healthy man from whom the can get heart for their boss. Apparantly Kiran also belongs to the same blood group. And the rest of the story is all about the tussle between Kiran and Sona Bhai.

Artists Performance

Gopichand: Kiran role in this film adds a new addition to Gopichand‘s arsenal. He changed his dialogue delivery and body language to suit the role of a city-based guy, brought up in sophisticated environment. He looks extremely flexible and comfortable in lethal action sequences.

Others: Neha Julka is adequate as female lead. She looks more beautiful without a bindi (bottu). Mahesh Manjrekar is good as mafia man suffering from health problems. Nassar played a vital role of villain’s close associate. Rahul Dev is extremely good in a different character. Giri Babu plays heroine’s father. The comedy bit by Brahmanandam in second half deserves special mention.

Technical Departments:

Story - screenplay - direction: Story of the film is different. Though the storyline is very thin, director Chandra Sekhar Yeleti made sure that there is enough logic behind every move hero makes. He also created the screenplay in such a way that hero has a strong reason behind staying in Mumbai though hounded by the villain’s gang. At the same time, goons can’t be ruthless on hero as they want him alive and healthy . That gives hero the power of invincibility. Chandra Sekhar canned action sequences extremely well, but the romance thread between the lead pair is under developed. One unappealing thing about the narration of the film is that the subject is too serious and the director did not try to mix some humor in narration of the film the way he did for his earlier two films.

Other departments: Cinematography by Jaya Krishna Gummadi is neat. We definitely expect better music from Keeravani for this film. The songs shot in Dubai by Krishna Vamsi offer some relief. Dialogues by Koratala Siva are good. There are some intelligent dialogues in second half like ‘Nee Gunde Dhairyam Chavali. Kaani Gunde bagundali’. Artwork by Ravindar is realistic (especially heroine’s house set by the bay). Fights composed by Allen Amin, Ram Lakshman & Vijay are first rate. Production values by Clap Entertainment are good.

Analysis: First half of the film is neat and it lays very good foundation for the battle between the hero and the villain. Second half is filled with series of action sequences which makes it redundant. The way Gopichand takes 4 crores from villain is good (it’s more of psychological than physical). The climax of the film appears little abrupt. The plus points of the film are taking of Chandra Sekhar Yeleti and action sequences. The main draw back of the film is lack of relieving entertainment. Chandra Sekhar made sure in his earlier films (Aithe and AOR) that however serious the subject is, the narration is in lighter vein with nice humor. That humor is missing in this film. Violence is excessive. The fate of the film depends on how family crowds take it.

Arya Telugu Movie Online

Arya - A cocktail of fun and more fun

There is no such thing as guaranteed success in filmdom. For, there are so many imponderables involved that nothing is taken for granted. But in the case of Arya, it was almost a given that the film will succeed.

To start with, the hype machine was at work incessantly before the release of the movie. And then there were carefully thrown tidbits about the movie from time to time. Finally, with the release of the music of the film, the marketing pitch reached a new high.

And after watching the film you also feel that here is a movie that is every inch worth its pre-release hype. Not only Arya is expected to lead the pack in the long summer of seemingly never-ending releases but also give the hero of the film, Allu Arjun, a new identity.

And now on to the film.

Arya is an unabashed package showcasing Allu Arjun and his dancing and fighting abilities. The thing it looks like it will work at the box-office.

The story actually can be completed at the back of a bus ticket. It is a typical boy-sees-girl-falls-in-love-at-first-sight-and-works-to-win-her-heart.

The movie revolves around Arya (Allu Arjun), a youngster with lots of attitude and plenty of good heart. Arya, a college student, falls head over heels for the charm of his college mate Geeta (Anuradha Mehta). But the problem is Ajay (Siva), the spoilt son of a rich politician (played with delightful insouciance by Rajan P Dev), who is also in love with Geeta.

The latter, as it happens, also accepts his proposal as he threatens to jump from the top of the college building if she refused. The rest of the story is all about how Arya makes a change in Geetas heart and how she moves away from the fumbling and exasperated Ajay.

The story is old as the sky. But the director, newcomer Sukumar, has managed to create situations, through deft screenplay, that can keep you engrossed in the movie. He has also managed to wrest top-class performances from his main cast.

Allu Arjun is the revelation of the movie. Be it dance or fights, he really pack a punch. He is full of beans and the director has fully utilized his talents. The gawky hesitancy that one got to witness in his first venture Gangothri is happily missing in this one. Of course, he is still an unfinished product ---- in that his acting skills and dialogue delivery need improvement. But the point is Allu Arjun has shown that he is a willing learner and is always ready for changes.

The heroine Anuradha Mehta is full of gamin charm and looks adequate. She is not fully tested in this movie. But what little she has been asked to perform, she does with ease and poise. But when are we going to have heroines who can speak on their own the dialogues?

Siva, as the jilted boyfriend, has ample opportunities to parade his skills. There is a fun element to his role and he has used them to his advantage. The others in the cast ---- Rajan P Dev, Babbloo (heroes friend) Sunil (in a cameo), Subbaraju (oozes menace as the villains points man), Venu Madhav, Vidya ---- all pass muster.

But the man who should walk away with all the kudos is musician Devi Sri Prasad. He is at his inspirational best in the songs and in re-recording he is soothing as a cool juice in summer heat. The songs Nuvvante, Takadhimithom (Allu Arjuns dance add more weight age), Feel MY Love among the six numbers in the film stand out.

Cinematographer Rathnavelu has also proved to be an able ally as he comes up with almost perfect frames.

Director Sukumar deserves praise for putting together an enjoyable cocktail of fun and fantasy. He keeps the tempo of the film going. To be sure, after this movie, he will be rightly besieged with more offers.

All told, Arya is Allu Arjuns.
